The Steady State HgB A1C Predictor is a tool designed for medical professionals to help predict hemoglobin (HgB) A1C in diabetics with serial A1C measurements obtained at intervals less than 3 months. The predicted HgB A1C is based on the days between two known HgB A1C measurements and estimated red blood cell half-life.

The calculation was validated by retrospective chart review as part of a poster abstract being presented at ENDO 2017: an annual medical exposition hosted by the Endocrine Society.
